Designed to protect and comfort the ball of the foot. The gel is sandwiched in between 2 layers of fabric and helps to relieve vertical pressure while simultaneously absorbing shear forces responsible for the burning sensation under the ball of the foot, often associated with wearing high heels.  The product is ideal to reduce or eliminate plantar keratosis (deep calluses) and is helpful for people who suffer from arthritis, thanks to its ability to absorb shock and cushion the ball of the foot.  Ideal for dancers, skaters, etc.
